Felles Fjellrev is a cross-border project whose goal is to save one of our most endangered mammal species – the Arctic fox.
The project has been running for five rounds of funding and, thanks to new funding from Interreg Aurora, the work has now started up once again and will continue until October 2026.
The project is a collaboration between the County Administrative Board of Jämtland, the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten, the County Administrative Board of Västerbotten, Stockholm University, the World Wildlife Fund WWF Sweden, Metsähallitus Finland, the World Wildlife Fund WWF Finland, the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) and the Arctic University of Norway (UiT, Tromsø).
